What is Aloe ?
It is a succulent; looking rather like a cactus but in fact is a member of the onion, lily
asparagus and garlic family. It reaches maturity in four to five years when the content of its leaves, a mixture of inner gel and sap can be harvested, stabilised, (to stop
oxidisation) and bottled to produce a product that is as near to the natural plant gel as you can get. Aloe Vera gel contains over 75 known natural ingredients, a wide range of vitamins including
the most important ones, the antioxidants C and E and Beta-Carotene, and the precursor of vitamin A. It is also one of the few plant sources in the world of vitamin B12, so very
useful for vegans. Aloe Barbadensis miller in its purest form can heal at an astonishing rate, burns suffered by radiation and the victims of fire and severe sunburn have been treated
with Aloe. For it is wisely known in the east as the burns plant, and many more benefits are becoming known as time goes on, see (4000 years of Healing Mankind)

growing in the barren regions of the world where the soil is poor and rocky but rich with minerals from the rock and stones, hence its natural wealth from which we benefit.
It is said that Aloe will flower only once in four years in its natural environment and when it does
long shafts of vivid yellow spears reach for the sun, shimmering against the lush green leaves.
Amongst the components that make up the Aloe Vera plant are 75 natural vitamins including “A”,
“B12”, “C” and “D”, Amino-Acids (including 7 of the 8 essential amino-acids that the body needs to function), Anti inflammatory agents, Antibacterial agents to
name a few. All working to help us maintain a healthy body and strong immune system.
