NEWS FROM HOME (Hadzor)a_Hadzor_park_1

Jan 10. Well here we are Christmas and New Year behind us and looking forward to 2010 and all it has in store for us. The past few months have seemed like a bit of a whirlwind with so many things happening with in the families all around the world  .J&D Wedding 094
On a personal note the new year has started with good news in that I have had a successful outcome to the tumor on the lung having had the op back in Aug, it’s taken some time to settle down and the consultants have given me a clear bill of heath which is all great news for me and Trish.
The family are busying themselves with the planning of Justin and Debbie’s wedding which now has just two months to go 12th of March will soon be upon us .
We have had so much excitement with news from Rachel in Aus THEY ARE COMING HOME ! Grandma Carole has gone into  overdrive preparing for the home coming in February, the twins are growing at a pace. Check out the pictures on “The Jones’s web site.
What a fantastic start to the year we had at Tortworth Court, where we saw in the new year once again, (if you haven’t already seen the pics go back to 2009 News).

The Wedding of the yearJ&D Wedding 077

March 12th saw the long awaited  J&D Wedding 014
 wedding between Justin and Debbie.
The wedding took place at St. John Baptist church at Claines in Worcester.
The reception was held at Stone Manor and everything went off like clockwork  The weather wasn’t too kind to us on the day as the heavens opened just as the service started, but luckily it eased off for the photos outside the church, we even had a show of the sun on occasion and looking at the pictures it didn’t stop the smiles or anyone not enjoying a great day. The speeches tookJ&D Wedding 027 place before the meal so everyone could enjoy themselves and relax and they were well presented and funny so a good laugh was had by all. Many of the guests travelled some distance from the south west and also from the north so most of the rooms were taken we almost took over the whole hotel .
The evening was also a success with roulette tables and black jack tables to test your stamina in gambling with chips. A giant chocolate fountain took center stage with the ladies and was greatly in demand with all ages young and younger alike. The bar was working overtime as was the barman and we danced into the tee small hours or until the body was week. The following morning we vacated the hotel and all met up at the Swan at Whittington easy access to the motor way for the journey home for those leaving, we had a good turnout at the pub and despite having a hearty breakfast most people had something to eat, don’t know where folk put it!! The two black & white photos were taken by Matt two weeks ago when
the girls were one month old. He's conveniently labelled them.

I've edited out a number of the earlier photos.

Great news from Aus Rachel is coming home to live in the UK in February

Mar 10. Hello everyone, "the twins" (to be found under "family") has been updated. There are now so many photos of Anna and Sophie that it's been difficult to narrow down the selection. Many earlier photos have been replaced by more recent ones but a few have been left to illustrate how much they've changed. Although they are not identical it can be difficult enough to tell them apart in the flesh, let alone in photos.

Our web site is www.jcjones.plus.com

If you have difficulty navigating the web site have a look at the home page. The plus.com web site was playing up earlier today. If you have a problem getting access it might be worth just leaving it until later.

There are no pictures of our holiday in Canberra and Victoria yet. We'll sort out some soon. However we mostly videoed on our travels.

NEWS FROM THE HERMANSa_Lala

Jan 10 - Welcome back to the Herman’s news page. Janey’s back home. safe in Oz..

Mar 10 - We arrived back in Oz 28 November and spent December and January wondering what the heck we were doing here. So took off again, mainly on a family and friends visit to Sydney and environs. Lovely to meet some of Brenton's family and friends not met before and to catch up with the few I had met before. Essentially we camped and took 8 days to get there, then had a fortnight staying at his mum's, then three nights visiting friends again then three nights in the Hunter Valley reintroducing ourselves to their delicious wines before heading home, supposedly camping again, but the big wet set in so it was one night only in a motel and headed straight for home. Janey

After leaving England we had a great week with Gilly and Wayne at their cottage north of Vancouver, followed by three days in New York, then flew to Nashville with Brenton's nephew, hired a brand new Cadillac and headed south to Memphis and New Orleans before going west across Texas and lots of other states which I can no longer remember and do not have my diary in front of me. Visited the Grand Canyon, and several other national parks, ending up in San Fransisco for three days before flying to the Baha Peninsular for three and a half weeks. Then flew back to LA and down to Auckland in NZ for four weeks in a rented camper van. It was a truly amazing trip, eye opening, exhilarating and sometimes scary, but really glad I went.

Just waiting for Brenton's divorce settlement to come through, then we're off around Oz to see a bit more of what we missed the last time.

Bye for now my lovely, love to Trish and all the rest of the family. Big hugs to you all too from Janey and Brenton
